Tim joined Velocity Solutions in 2012 after the firm acquired the software products and teams he led as Director of Deposit Score, Platinum Overdraft, and Pricing Partner products from Sheshunoff Consulting + Solutions. His consulting career began in 2002 at Sheshunoff, where he helped financial institutions across the U.S. optimize their Demand Deposit Account (DDA) lines of business using his regulatory insights, banking systems knowledge and expertise in data analysis.
With 30+ years of experience in banking and technology, Tim has developed extensive knowledge in key areas such as bank systems integration, consumer liquidity programs, revenue enhancement, technology planning and acquisition, and regulatory review preparation. Additionally, he has provided consulting services in call center implementations, deposit risk management, and operational reviews.
As the ILS Product Owner at Velocity Solutions, Tim collaborates with developers to expand the platform’s capabilities, including managing the Consumer Liquidity Engine and enhancing data analysis functionalities. His diverse client base ranges from single-branch operations to institutions with over $100 billion in assets.
Before his Sheshunoff recruitment and transitioning to bank technology consulting, Tim served as the District Technology Director for a central Texas school district, overseeing districtwide hardware, networking, and software systems. In the mid-1990s, he was the Senior Systems Analyst at the 100+ branch First American Bank in Bryan, Texas, a $4 billion asset institution eventually acquired by Citibank in 2005. During his tenure, Tim managed significant projects, including the new rollout of online banking, new teller systems, Voice Response Unit software, Y2K preparation, and disaster recovery readiness. Tim is a member of Texas A&M University’s Class of ’95 and resides in College Station, Texas, with his Middle School Administrator wife of over 30 years. Together, they have three daughters, two sons-in-law and will soon be grandparents.
